Being Direct
This page addresses the fourth of four fundamental consciousness and cultural maladaptations hindering movement toward a Fair Planet.
It may seem strange at first to see the "Middleman" arrayed next to the other, more obvious perhaps maladaptations of humanity.  What we indend to discuss here is not the Middleman in the sense of a  Mediator, but in the sense of a Meddler.

A mediator, it is presumed, is an invited third party to a relationship between two entities that are seeking to find a common ground for an exchange.  The exchange may be of tangible or intangible items. What matters here is that the mediator is included voluntarily and is expected to be impartial to a great degree.  This sees the mediator's role chiefly as the facilitator of the exchange.  While it is acknowledged that the mediator may have a range of motives for getting involved, taking advantage of either or both of parties to the exchange should not be one of them.  This needs to be clear to all parties whether or not he/she is recompensed.
